Mitchell started training in September 2014 and was promoted to Blue Belt in April 2016, and currently holds the rank of 2nd degree Blue Belt. What started out as a hobby quickly became an obsession. When Mitchell isn’t on the mats training he’s probably still talking about BJJ to his family, his friends or his co-workers. Mitchell doesn’t have a favorite technique but enjoys the special moments in BJJ; the moments where knowledge is gained through a submission. Mitchell’s goal is to take what he learns in BJJ and adapt it to his everyday life and his career as a Peace Officer.
