No - Gi BJJ 201
Typically most BJJ classes use techniques involving the Gi uniform. This class will operate without the Gi, and will teach students the dynamics of grappling without the use of a uniform. No-Gi grappling involves many aspects that are not found in the Gi. This class is very close contact as the absence of the Gi prevents players from gripping. Much of the ground game aspect of what you see in mixed martial arts (MMA) is learned in No-Gi training and can be applied to everyday situations. Students who have previous wrestling experience tend to find No Gi Jiu-Jitsu to be a great extension to their wrestling background. If you are looking for a class that is both challenging and effective, this class is definitely for you.
This is our intermediate, or skill expansion martial arts class, open to 1 stripe white belts and up. In this class you will spend an entire week on a single position, creating in depth familiarity with the offensive positions of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This class also follows a set curriculum.
